OOTD: RED & BLACK

Sunglasses: Primark | Choker: Ebay | Top: Charity Shop | Jeans: Primark | Bag: River Island | Sandals: Primark | Watch: Casio

Quite a simple 'Ive just thrown this on' kind of outfit. I was about to walk to my hans house, so there was no reason to dress up as such. I feel as though there is a 90s vibe about this look, with the choker and style of top which I managed to find in my local charity shop! I've just realised how much black is in this outfit - even though it was quite warm outside, so I was baked before I even reached my nans house!

What were you up too in the sun?

OOTD: THE FLORAL SHIRT

Floral shirt: Vintage Market | Top: H&M | Skirt: American Apparel | Watch: Casio | Clutch: Primark | Flatforms: Primark

I love clutch bags at the minute, for my essential items that I need with me, rather than lugging a massive bag around that I fill with pointless rubbish. These flatforms are so comfy and easy to walk in as they aren't really a heel so my foot is more or less flat. I personally think this could be worn within the day and taken through onto the night, with the help of some more accessories like a chunky necklace?

What do you think? Would you rock this day or night? or both?

THE CO-ORDINATE

I love a good Co-ord outfit! Such a simple idea, but looks so amazing and 'neat'. At the minute they seem to be everywhere you look in store, online, in every magazine so in my opinion you might swell embrace them while they're around (which might be a while!) They are so simple to style, whether for a casual look with some Doc Martens and a biker jacket or a dressy occasion with some strappy sandal heels and dainty jewellery accessories.

Here Ive found a few of my favourite co-ordinate outfits that are available in high street and online stores. There are plenty more available in so many variations of colours, lengths and styles so you are bound to find something that takes your fancy.

OOTD: FLORAL STRIPES

Sunglasses: Primark | Necklace: Charity Shop | Tshirt: Primark | Playsuit: Urban Outfitters | Belt: Charity Shop | Bag: Primark | Reebok Classics: ShopStyle.co.uk

It's finally feeling like summer here in England! Just a casual comfy outfit to run some errands in, I thought I would take advantage of the sun and walk rather than catching a bus or taxi (plus I'm so unfit its ridiculous! - this is changing as of now!) hence why I have my Reebok classics on which I LOVE to bits as they're all lilac and pretty. I'm not going to babble on as the pictures are pretty self explanatory of what I'm wearing. Hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather!

OOTD: PRIMARK OVERLOAD

Jumper: Primark | Skirt: Primark | Sandals: Primark | Bag: Primark

So I put together this outfit, then realised that every single item was from Primark! In my opinion I don't think any item look particularly 'cheap' and Primark have had some amazing items in store lately (as I seem to be mentioning far too much in my posts haha) But anyway! I put this fluffy jumper on as a substitute for a jacket as its too cold without one and just a shirt on but far too hot to be wearing both. I kept it simple without any jewellery or accessories as the bold print of the skirt and bold colour of the bag is all that the outfit needed.

What have you been wearing recently?

MY MORNING & EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE

(clockwise) Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Toner | Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser | Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic | Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser | Witch Blemish Stick | Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer

Its only been the past few years that I have really started to understand the importance of skincare. Before I would wake up, splash some water on my face and then throw my makeup on without even moisturising (I know, I'm horrified too!) I have really sensitive skin and have trouble finding products that don't flare me up in spots or a rash, but these the are products that have become my holy grail in the world of skincare that I can rely on to keep me looking healthy.

MORNING ROUTINE
Cleanse - apply a pea sized amount of Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish onto fingertips and then rub this onto face. Then using warm water and a muslin cloth I rub off the cleanser in soft circular motions.
Tone - Using a cotton pad and Nivea Refreshing Toner I rub this over my face to remove any excess cleanser or makeup/oils left on my skin.
Moisturise - I then apply a small amount of Nivea Express Hydration Primer to my face. (You don't need much as it spreads so easily) It kind of works as a moisturiser and a primer, so you don't have to add an extra layer to your base makeup.

EVENING ROUTINE
Cleanse - I repeat the same routine as I do in the morning, but scrub a little harder to remove my makeup from the day and any dirt that has caught up in my pores.
Tone - I use a cotton pad with Liz Earle Skin Tonic to refresh my skin after the day of wearing makeup and to remove any cleanser that I have missed.
Moisturise - In the evening I apply Liz Earle Moisturiser as it is a lot thicker than the one I use in the mornings and can aid my skin throughout the night to leave it looking fresh when I wake up in the morning.

What's your skin routine? What products do you use at the moment?

OOTD: DENIM & CHECK

Denim Jacket: Charity Shop | Band Top: Primark | Skirt: Urban Outfitters | Belt: Charity Shop | Shoes: Schuh | Frilly Socks: Primark | Bag: Topshop | Lipstick: MUA Shade 2

I love a good old band t-shirt (yes, I listen to their music and know who they are!), I find them so easy to throw on and grunge up an outfit. I went for a casual vibe within this outfit but added a dressier touch with the heeled T-bar shoes. Perfect for a mooch around the shops or a casual lunch date! I am trying to wear more of my millions of pairs of shoes at the minute as I seem to just go for the same few pairs all the time and leave the rest sitting in the wardrobe gathering dust!

What do you think of band tee's?

NEW BUYS: PRIMARK HAUL

I wanted to do this post in a lookbook style, but being back at uni it was just a lot easier to take the images of my new buys like this - I suppose it's good to change things up bait now and then anyway!

The Primark here in Southampton is SOOO much better than the one that I have in my hometown, stocking almost anything you could think of in practically the same quality as Topshop, River Island, etc. I had to limit myself to just these items for now, which still came to around £50! But I am definitely popping back to pick up a few more bits and bobs before I go back home for summer next week.

Sandals: £8 | Bag: £6 | Sunglasses: £3

I have these sandals in black already and I love them so much, they're so comfy and almost exactly the same as the pricey versions in River Island which I can't justify the price of. I'm a sucker for pretty sunglasses and couldn't say no to a £3 pair that look so fabulous, even if they do make me look a tiny bit bug-like! I've been looking for a camera bag to put my camera in for ages! At the moment I keep it in a boring black one that my dad gave me which is super heavy without the camera even in it, so when I saw this cute little pastel beauty for only £6 how could I say no? It fits my camera in it snug and I can now take it out and about with me.

Hats: £4 each

I was stood in Primark for about 10 minutes trying to decide which colour of this hat I should go for, as they are both statement colours and go with practically any outfit chosen. I even rang my mum and best friend to help me decide. In the end, I bought both because I was still being so indecisive! At only £4 each it didn't really dent the bank balance and I just love how chic' they look.

Smock dress (left): £9 | Playsuit: £13

Sorry for how busy these last two photos have turned out, I didn't realise the patterns were so clashy! Primark are really on top form at the minute, with all the current trends ands styles available in the shops at such cheap prices. I picked up this dress as a casual item just to throw on when running errands and popping to town and so on, its smock style so its loose and comfy. This playsuit doesn't look like a typical Primark piece in my opinion, it has a silky feel and fits me in all the right places and at £13 its a deifnate steal!

What have you picked up in Primark lately? Anything the same as me?
